The papers are all from my stash and I have backed everything on silver mirror board.I handtyped the sentiment. Then to embellish I have added some Candi, Various size pearls and some little Metal Dolphins.

Footy Friend

Good Morning all,

Well it's another stunning day here so we are off out to the Lakes this afternoon but first I have a little card to share with you:

I have used an image from my Forever Friends CD for this one. The backing papers are from my stash and I have backed everything on silver mirror card. I saw a great tip on C&C the other day for distressing the edges by running scissors along them so I have done that on all the papers. I have made a sentiment in Craft Artist and distressed that aswell. I have then added some Candi to embellish. Now the challenge over at Forever Friends this time is Are You Brave Enough? They want to see an old and a new card so I have raided my album and found this:

This was made a few years ago now for my Sister and it is a very simple card but again it's using the Forever Friends CD. I do love my CD's.

Challenges entered:

Allsorts - Distressing
Papertake Weekly - Make Your Own
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Cute Card Thursday - Distressing
Paperplay - Sports
Fab n Funky - No stamped images
Forever Friends - Old and New

What is your Favourite Animal?

Well the challenge over at Charisma Cardz is favourite animal so how could I not use a dog image. I have had dogs all my life and all of them have been part of the family. I currently have two called Jayden and Java and they mean the world to me. Here they are:

For my card I have used the cute little puppy Kiki from Tiddly Inks, and the best bit she is free.

I have coloured Kiki with Promarkers. The backing papers are from my stash. I have used some of the lace I got from ebay and some ribbon that I had in the drawer. The gem swirl, pearls and buttons were all from my local craft warehouse and the banner has been in my drawer for years so I have no idea where it came from. It is my Neighbours 60th on Saturday so this card will be on it's way to her. She is having a BBQ so fingers crossed the weather stays nice.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Tiddly Inks - Sketch
Sweet Stampin - Monochromatic
Joanna Sheen - Animal Crackers
Crafty Catz - Monochromatic
LEJ Designs - Bling Bling
Paper Crafting Journey - Pearls and Swirls

You're Ace

Hi Everyone

Sorry I have been a bit absent the last few days. My Cousin and her family came up over the weekend and we had a lovely time at Stanwick Lakes. Anyone that lives anywhere near Northamptonshire will probably have heard of it. I did however get sunburnt so I am still a bit sore and having three kids in the house was sooo tiring so I have taken a few days to recover. I do have a couple of cards to share with you today though so here is the first:

I have used some little playing cards and a card backing paper from Kanban and then handtyped the You're Ace sentiment. I backed everything on gold mirror card. Another CAS but I am liking this one even more than the last.

I am entering this card into the following challenge:

C.R.A.F.T - Use a playing card

Elephant Splisha Splash

Hi all,

I am so late with this post today as it has been a bit of a mad morning but I am here now. This is my DT card for 2 Cute Ink using one of the three fab new images available in the shop this week. This one is called Elephant Splash:

I have coloured this little cutie with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The papers are all from my stash and I have used silver mirror card for backing. I punched some flowers from the same paper as the backing paper and added a pearl in each centre. I then added some Candi, Pearls, Gems and a handtyped sentiment.

Ava very Merry Christmas

Well it has come to the end of the Christmas in July week over at Catch The Bug. I have really enjoyed joining in with the challenges everyday and I now have a nice batch of Christmas cards all made up ready. Well the last challenge is to add a bow so here is my creation:

I have used the cute little fairy Ava from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. She is just adorable to colour. All the papers are from Dovecraft and everything is backed on gold mirror card from my stash. I have been playing around with layouts while scrapbooking lately and this is one I came up with. I thought it was a little different and worked well with the image. I have added a handtyped sentiment and then embellished with some large and small pearls, a little bit of ribbon and of course the all important bow.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Catch The Bug - Use a bow
Cute Card Thursday - Fairy

A little bit of sparkly snow

I was going to save this one for later as it was still wet earlier but it has dried enought to take a pictute so here it is:

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps and added the words 'Let It' before printing it out. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and Flexmarkers then added some glitter to the snow. I have backed the image on Shiny silver mirror card and added 3 little pearls.

I am entering this card into the following challenge:

Catch The Bug - Sparkle and Shine
I Love Promarkers - Sparkle

Santa at the beach

Well I am back with my second card so here it is:

I have used the freebie image you get for playing along with the challenge over at Catch The Bug this week. I have coloured him with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The red backing paper was a freebie from a magazine and the yellow and blue paper is from my stash. I have added a handtyped sentiment and some little buttons.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Catch the bug - Tropical
Sassy Studio - Hit the beach
Paperplay - Christmas in July

On yer bike

Good Morning all,

I finally made it to the cinema last night and although the film was pretty rubbish (The five year engagement) it was great to get out and have a bit of me time. I did a little crafting before I went last night and have just finished another little card so I have two to share with you this morning so here is the first:

I have used a fab image from Sliekje and coloured her with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. As the theme over at Cupcake this week is Le Tour De France I have given her the famous yellow shirt. The backing paper is from Papermania and as it has orange in it I have used orange and brown to finish off my colouring. I have followed the sketch over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp and for the circle I used a paper doilie. I think it helps to break up the colour a little. The lace is a newbie to my stash I got a big box of all different ones off ebay and they were so cheap. I want to get more but I really don't need it as I have enough to open a shop already. I have added a little bit of ribbon from my stash and my old favourite, yep you guessed it Candi. The small flowers are Primas and the big flower started off cream but I added some Promarker to make it fit the card. I got a big bunch of them from my local craft warehouse. I think cream is the way forward as I can make them any colour I need. I have added some little pearls and finished with a handtyped sentiment.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Cupcake Craft - Le Tour De France
Papertake Weekly - All things girlie
Crafty Catz - Olympics - cycling
Sunday Sketch - Sketch

Define Good

I have another Christmas card for you now and I have gone with a bit of a funny theme with this one

I have used a fab image from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured her with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The sentiment comes with the image. The papers are from a Dovecraft paper pad and I have backed everything on silver embossed card from my stash. I have embellished with some Candi and snowflakes.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Catch The Bug - Funny Christmas
Cute Card Thursday - Sketch
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes

Beary Christmas Wishes

I have been at the old Forever Friends CD again and this time came up with a little Christmas card so here it is:

The backing papers are from an Anita's paper pad and I have backed everything on red mirror card. The paper flower is from a backing paper, I cut out all the bits and shaped the petals before layering them up. I then stuck on a Candi to make the centre. The sentiment is handtyped and I have embellished with a little bow.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Saturday Challenge - Food and Drink
Sketch N Stash - Sketch - Everthing is old on this card so all from my stash.
Totally Gorjuss - Christmas

Musical bear

Here is another little card for you:

For this one I have used a very cool image from Doodle Dragon Studios and coloured him with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I have paper pieced his clothes, Skates and nose and have made it a bit more interesting by using my Pinflair glue gel to give a 3D effect. I have used the same papers for the backing papers. I am not sure who made the papers but they are part of a pack. I have then handtyped a sentiment. I kept this card simple as the backing papers are so busy it looked to much when I tried to add embellishments.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

A little Birdie

Good Morning All,
I have another clean and simple card to share with you today and I am alot happier with this one than I was with my last attempt. So here it is:

The little birds and branches have been in my drawer for years. I have no idea who makes them but there are various colours and sizes. I have never used them as I really did'nt know what to do with them but as the challenge over at Allsorts is an inspirational one using birds I jumped to these. I have stuck with the colours the Allsorts DT had to use by punching out some tiny flowers from a scrap of paper I had in the drawer, sorry again I have no idea who it's from. I then added tiny pearls to the centre of each flower and a little Hi peeloff sentiment.

I am entering this card into the following challenge:

Raft Giraffe

Hi all,

Well how rubbish is the weather, I am starting to think we will have no summer this year. As the weather is so poor I thought I would bring you a little sunshine in the form of a card so here it is:

I have used one of the three new images released over at 2 Cute Ink this week. Is she not the cutest little giraffe ever. I have coloured her with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The backing papers are from a Dovcraft back to basics pad and everthing is backed on silver embossed card. I have added some lace, pearls and gems from my stash and handtyped a sentiment.

WINTER

Hi I am back with another Christmas card to share with you this morning so here it is:

I have again used a Bugaboo Stamps image and coloured it with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The backing papers are all from one pad but I have lost the front cover so I have no idea who made them sorry. They are very pretty though. I have handtyped the sentiment and backed everything on silver mirror card. The little foam snowflakes have been in my stash for years so I thought is was about time they got used so I have added tiny buttons to them just to add a bit of colour. I then added some more of the button to finish off the card.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

1st Christmas Baby

I am very excited as I am going to be an aunty in September as my Sister is going to have her first baby. We think it's a girl so I have made a little Christmas card ready. If it turns out to be a Boy, well I hope he likes pink he he. Anyway here is the card:

I have used a cute little image from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured it with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I know it's not your usual Christmas image but that's the theme over at Catch the Bug today and I thought this image worked for any occasion. The snowflake paper is from a Dovecraft Christmas pad and the pink paper was a freebie from a magazine. I handtyped the sentiment and backed everything on silver embossed card. I have used some of the backing from my double sided tape for the pink borders. I know it would normally get thrown away but I think it gives a great border as you can still see the paper underneath. I have then added some glittery snowflake buttons with the backs cut off and some pearls.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

I have used a fab image from Bugaboo stamps and coloured it with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I have gone with a childish theme on this one so I have used lots of bright colours. The backing papers are from a Dovecrafts paper pad and I have backed everything on silver mirror card. I added a border of white ribbon and hand typed the sentiment. I kept the embellishmnets simple by punching three little snowflakes from silver mirror card.

A little snappy

Good Afternoon all,

Well we got through another week and this one has been a hard one. Charlie had his MMR on Tuesday and after having a temperature for two days he has now got the mini measles rash. It's not bothering him but he is being a grizzly little monster and has also learnt to scream so that's what he spent all of yesterday doing. We are off out to do a bit of shopping today and hopefully there will be no screaming while we are out. I do have a little card to share with you first so here it is:

I have used another of the new images that were released this week over at 2 Cute Ink. He is called Sharkie and I have coloured him with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The polka dot papers are from a Dovecraft back to basics pad and I have backed everything on silver mirror card from my stash. I handtyped the sentiment and backed that on the same paper as the image. I then added some Ribbon, Candi, Pearls and a Gem Swirl to embellish.

Please check out what the DT have created with the new images over on the 2 Cute Ink Blog.

Good Morning All,

I just could'nt get motivated last night so I just finished a card I had started and then done a little bit of colouring. So I only have one card to share today so here it is:

I have used a little cutie from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured her skin, hair and bunny with my Promarkers and paper pieced her dress and bow. The papers I have used for the paper piecing and background are from my stash. I have handtyped the sentiment. I have added some natural ribbon and pink satin ribbon and then embellished with some buttons and flowers.

Ele Fun

Well here is my second card and it's a little different from my first:

I have used the adorable elephant image from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured it with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I have gone for a Kraft card blank for this one. I found them in my local craft warehouse at the weekend so thought I would give them a go and so far I am pleased with them. I have used some backing paper from my stash and backed everything on gold embossed card. I decided to make it extra girlie by adding a doillie and some lace and coloured a ribbon with Promarker. The little flowers were cream so I used the same Promarker as I used for the ribbon and coloured the edge of each petal. The Happy Birthday is confetti and I finished the card with some giant pearls.

I'm With Genius

Good Morning All,

I hope I find you all well this morning. I was meant to be going to the cinema last night with my friend but she was poorly so I dragged my sorry self to the craft room and made some cards instead. I managed two and although I would have preferred a night at the flicks I am pleased with my creations. So here is the first:

I just love this cute little fella and you can get him and loads of other fab images from Tiddly Inks. I have coloured him with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The papers and card are all from my stash and the sentiment is handtyped. I have added some little buttons to embellish.

Happy Birthday Alfie

It's Charlie's little friend Alfie's Birthday soon so this little card is just for him:

I have used one of the new images released this week over at 2 Cute Ink, there are three in total and one of them is a freebie so head over and have a look. I have coloured Whale Fun with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers and used my spellbinders to cut him out. The backing papers are a mix of Papermania and my stash and they are all backed on silver mirror card. I have handtyped the sentiment and used my corner punch to round the edges. I have added a bit of ribbon and a little bow from my stash. As it's Alfie's First Birthday I had to have his age on the card so I added a metal star tag and stuck a number peeloff on top. I used the same peeloffs to add his name to the edge of the image. I finished with some little dew drops and Candi.

Please head over to the 2 Cute Ink Blog as the DT have created some fab cards with the new images. I will be adding a new card on Saturday so hopefully you can pop on over then.

Colourful, Clean and Simple

Good Morning All,

First of all I would like to say welcome to my new followers, It means alot to me that you like my creations enough to become a follower. I have two cards to share with you this morning and this first one was a headache. Here it is:

The image is a colouring page from the internet and when I saw the challenge over at Love to Create was a photo inspiration featuring really bright colours, I went straight to this. I have coloured it with my brightest Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I had to use the fine tip nibs as it is so detailed. It took me ages to colour but it was very enjoyable, sometimes it's nice to colour something a little different. Then the headache began. I tried various backing papers and layouts but everything looked wrong, The papers just made the card look to busy. So I stepped out of my comfort zone and kept it clean and simple. I'm really not sure on this one, I like the image but the card as a whole does'nt do it for me but then again everyone has different tastes so I am sure there is someone out there who will like it.

I am entering this card into the following challenge:

Love to Create - Photo Inspiration - Bright colours

Gardening Bear

Well I am back from the docs and boy did Charlie scream poor little mite. He is asleep now but still sobbing. I felt so horrible putting him through that but I know it's for his own good. Anyway here is my second card of the day:

I have used a paper from my Forever Friend paper pad and cut it down to make the topper. The gardening backing paper is also from the same pad and the green spotty paper is from my stash. I handtyped the sentiment and backed everything on gold embossed card. I have used a flower that I got from the craft store at the weekend. It started life cream but I used a Promarker to colour the edges blue to match the blue in the image. The leaves are from a little sticker embellishment. They were part of a bigger sticker but I pulled them off to use on this. I then added some Candi to finish.

For my Baby Girl Always in my heart.

Good Morning all,

We are back to normality today, well sort of. Last week was a bit mad with celebrating Charlie's birthday but this week is a week to relax. I am shattered so I intend on doing as little as possible this week. Although today I do have to keep my mind occupied so I may have lots of cards to share with you this evening.
I will tell you why and have a little favour to ask. Two years ago today we said goodbye to our little baby Girl. I was 13 weeks pregnant when we lost her. She was a very poorly little girl and I know she has gone to a better place as this world was not for her.  We named her Emily Elizabeth and planted a little rose bush in the garden to show her if she looks down that she is always in our thoughts. I think of her everyday but I find this day the most difficult of the year. I am thankful for what I have please don't get me wrong, If I had'nt lost Emily then I would'nt have my beautiful little boy as I fell pregnant with him 3 months after losing Emily.  But the hole in my heart can never be filled no matter how many more children I have. I have a little favour to ask of you this morning if you get a minute could you send a little hug thought to Emily and her baby Brother or Sister who I lost earlier this year and of course all the other little babies that have been taken to a better place.

This is for you Emily:

To my beautiful baby girl

Never in my arms
Always in my heart.

Love always
Mummy

Thank you Everyone I will be back with a card in a bit

An Ice Cream Made For Two

Good Morning All,

I am feeling a little under the weather today as I woke up with the worst migraine I have had for ages. It has sort of gone now but I still feel rough so I will keep this short. We are hoping to go see the olympic torch later if the weather allows. It is in the local towns so I thought why not as it's not something you see everyday. I have a little card to share with you this morning so here it is:

I have used one of the fab new digis from Sliekje and coloured it with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers. All the backing papers are from Craftartist and I also made the bunting with Craftartist and added the letters before printing it out. I have kept this one really simple with only a ribbon and bow for embellishment.
